That reminds me, I recently photoshopped this for a highly satirical post about the new FCA boss not knowing what Lancia is and thinking the name, “Stratos,” was mispelled.
I wrote the post but never published it here, and I don’t think I ever will.

pretty close the 2 of them...always had a soft spot for the Ambassador. We had a brown sedan when I was a kid.
this looks close to the photo up top.
I like it in black. I’d prefer this over a Chevelle or similarly loved muscle car of the era due to the rarity and AMC having had some very underrated designs. Their history reminds me of British cars from the era. Some quite cool, just not good cars.
